Since the mid-1960's, performance apparel has been dominated by polyester, nylon, and other synthetic fibers due to their incredible performance characteristics. They're lightweight, durable, stretchy, and capable.
So why question them?
We question the products we eat, use, and bring into our homes. Why should what we wear be any different?
We wanted to understand the fibers against our skin from their origins—not simply accept them because they became the industry default.
This lead to a bigger question.
